During this project, we have monitored 31 institutions for people with disabilities and drafted reports on compliance with the minimum accomodation standards, the existence of supportive (psycho-social) services, the staff workload, the use of imobilisation, procedure on deaths notification, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. The Mobile Legal Clinic Experts have provided support in decision-making in 30 residential centers, hospitals and psychiatric wards in 18 counties (including Bucharest), including in criminal cases, where the police were informed about physical or sexual abuse. We have also helped in the provision of information and legal assistance services to a number of 64 people with disabilities, social workers, as well as the families of disabled people or their representatives.
