Under the supervision of Swiss experts, we have developed an accredited curriculum on psychological intervention in severe trauma. Regarding this, we have organized a training program for the Romanian specialists in mental health. Also, 31 people took part in 2 complementary courses, supported by a team of Romanian and Swiss experts: “Psychotrauma elements in the case of severe trauma (torture and other inhuman and degrading treatments)” and “Introductory notions in emergency psychology”. In addition, we have published a training manual for the vocational program and developed a new organizational strategy for the ICAR Foundation.
