We proposed to make the voice of an important vulnerable group – young people aged 18-24 – heard in the decision-making process. For this purpose, we have developed and tested new types of educational tools that encourage the participation of young people in the public policy process, piloting complementary solutions for involvement in the decision-making process. We have proposed the development of an innovative infrastructure for participation of young people well informed in the public space, in a manner tailored for their needs and interests. After a series of consultations with relevant actors from the areas of interest and a preliminary research regarding the areas of interest of young people aged 18-24, we have developed 10 policy cards in education, health, corruption, local institutions, central institutions and economic development, which have been improved and validated by young people and experts. Moreover, 58 young people have participated in 3 civic jury events on civic education, health and economic growth. We have also developed the www.cumarfi.ro platform, where young people have the opportunity to experience, in an interactive way, the public policy cycle.
