During this project, we have consolidated and developed the “Together for breast health” network, which promotes information, awareness and education of the population about the early detection of breast cancer. The project was developed in partnership with 9 NGOs and aimed at strengthening the local capacity of organizations from 11 counties: Mures, Constanta, Brasov, Covasna, Harghita, Bistrita, Giurgiu, Calarasi, Tulcea, Prahova and Bucharest. As a result, during the project, 18 institutions out of which 16 NGOs and 2 public institutions, joined the network, reaching a total of 34 members. All activities of the project aimed at developing NGO’s advocacy skills to influence public policies through a strategic, multi-layered approach: workshops for theoretical training, based on need mapping, that were conducted in 7 counties and had 117 participants, workshops on the development of management skills in which 28 people participated and a good practice seminar on fundraising and volunteering carried out in 7 counties and attended by 105 people.
