8 NGOs have strengthened their institutional and operational capacity to intervene in the decision-making process and to involve the community members in their campaigns as a result of their participation at a professional training organized within the project. Through the development of 8 advocacy campaigns, we have produced important and lasting changes within the target communities: 400 people were involved in public consultations, 19,533 citizens were mobilized and involved in advocacy campaigns, and 206,009 individuals were informed about the causes of the campaigns and about the activities carried out. In this way, communities have developed organizational skills, learned about success stories and results on local level to encourage their initiative spirit.
