Following a strategic planning process for FEDRA members, we have managed to develop an organizational strategy. We have also developed a feasibility study regarding 5 innovative interventions for integrating people with ASD (autism spectrum disorders), translated into social services in Romania. Also, during this project, we have developed a wide advocacy campaign aimed at promoting a public policy paper on the social integration of people with ASD. More than 1 million persons have been reached by the message of the awareness campaign regarding the activity of NGOs addressing the needs of people with ASD. FEDRA - Federation for Rights and Resources for People with Autism Spectrum Disorders - became a member of the Inter-ministerial Working Group on autism issues. Most of the FEDRA's suggestions and recommendations were included in the rules and regulations for the Law 151/2010.
