More than 200 people have benefited directly from these topics by engaging in the working group and participating in seminars and the final conference of the project. Several thousand people have been informed through the ""Zero Emissions - Policy Guide for Civil Society"" guidebook and the zeroemisii.ro portal. The public policies in the energy, transportation and environmental (waste management) sectors have been monitored from the perspective of the transition to a green economy. Thus, we came to the conclusion that the Romanian legislature is not concerned enough about the green economy and low-carbon development. Therefore, the documents prepared within the project, as well as the organized public events brought to the attention of the Government the fact, that more actions are needed. In this respect, the working group has drawn up and submitted to the Ministry of Transport a position paper regarding the situation of the railway transportation in Romania.
