We have developed methods and tools for therapeutic recreation and have prepared over 70 volunteers to provide personalized assistance to these children. A multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, teachers and social workers has provided information and advice to more than 200 families from various counties to help children with diabetes develop life skills abilities.
